Leggings

Leggings, tights, and of course jeggings paired with a cute dress or skirt and boots is such a fun trend!  Add some cute knee-high socks for extra warmth!  There all sorts of legging patterns and knits, so have fun choosing the combinations that work best for you!

Passionately Purple

I heart PURPLE! I loved all these purple photos and couldn't help but share! I definitely take it overboard with this color...my room at home is basically 100% purple, my bedding in college is purple, my high school colors were purple, my life planner is purple, and I own entirely too many purple articles of clothing. Whatever, the color makes me happy! :)
In the spirit of this post, I looked up what purple colors imply. According to this website, purple is the color of royalty and spirituality. It can create peace of mind and is linked with "creativity, wisdom, dignity, independence, passion, motivation, nobility, mystery, power, respect, active dreaming, sophistication, and adventure." "Personality traits of purple: inspirational leaders, kindly, just, self-sacrificing, humanitarian, visionary, creative, and strong mentally." Interesting! I may just have to make a post for every color so we can learn what they all mean!

Bad hair day? No worries. Grab a cute hat and you'll be all set for some outdoor fun! I don't normally wear hats, but when I do, I usually reach for a trusty baseball cap to run errands, jog, or lay out, but after seeing these, I think I'm definitely going to have to invest in some stylish new hats for my wardrobe!

Classy and Chic Hair Accessories

Spice up your summer with a lovely headband or hair accessory. Ribbons, bands, bows, jewels, etc...they can all become fun additions to any outfit if you wear it with confidence and go out and rock it. Blair Waldorf is the headband queen, if you need examples. Gotta love J.Crew, Burberry, Anthropologie, Susan Daniels, and Jennifer Behr when shopping for these items!

Bold Colors

Here's Emma Watson looking flawless as usual in bright and bold colors! They may not be the summeriest (definitely a word) of shades, but they're certainly fun and I couldn't wait until fall to post these pictures!

Audrey Hepburn

I do believe I will have an Audrey Hepburn day! Movie Marathon? Yes, please!

Brussels-born Audrey Hepburn's classic style and poise make her one of my favorite fashion icons. She always looked so prim and proper and pulled together. From the over-sized sunglasses to the diamonds and pearls, Audrey Hepburn's wardrobe was always elegant and chic. Throw in a little black dress, white blouse, fitted jeans or capris, ballet flats, and scarves, and you're all set!

"People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone."
