Robert's Rules

Two of the five days of going through legislature at my Sorority Grand Convention has given me a renewed appreciation for Robert's Rules of Order and Parliamentary procedure! I love the structure! Between all the proposed legislation, amendments, ratifications, ayes, motions, and addresses, it has been thoroughly entertaining and exciting! Here are some quick tips to use from Robert's Rules!

Sorority Weekend

Yay! I'm heading out to join all the other Chapter Presidents, alums, and delegates at my sorority's Grand Convention today! I'm looking forward to a fun-filled, estrogen-packed, weekend getaway! I feel like it is rush week all over again...I got my hair cut, my nails done, and bought new outfits for the whole week! I'll try to give some fun updates each day I'm there! :)

P.S. - I've decided that one of my least favorite things in the entire world is packing...and unpacking for that matter...although I do have to admit I kind of have a knack for it. I can perfectly pack everything I need (and more) into my luggage and always come in at 49.5 pounds at the airport. I even lived in London one summer and between my two bags, I never wore the same outfit twice! I like to call it a gift. Anyways, I still don't like pulling everything out of my closet, trying to sort outfits, folding everything into a crammed little space, and then carrying my bags downstairs (I always try to avoid that last part at all costs). But thankfully, my mom helped and we finished in half the time! Well, I'm off! Hasta la vista!
