John French

My all-time favorite photographer is John French! I saw some of his pictures awhile ago - before they became posters at Hobby Lobby (which I bought 4 of) and fell in love with all his work. You can pretty much pick out his art anywhere. When I was at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London, I was just lost wandering around all of the displays, and I saw one of his photos and was so excited to remember that they housed a huge collection of his work! (Like my heart started beating really fast and I didn't leave the John French room the rest of the tour).

John French was an English fashion photographer who lived from 1907-1966. I think all of his pictures are so classy and chic! His pictures are mostly black and whites of women wearing fashionable clothes. He captures the feminine form with style, grace, elegance, and taste.

  1. Today I was shopping at Hobby Lobby and saw one of John French's photographs, and I fell in love. I spent the rest of the time searching for more photographs from him. I found two more, and now I'm on a mission to find as many as I can. I just love his work!
